The development, implementation, and maintenance of The Model will require legislation and policies, partnerships, professional development, and an accountability and evaluation system.
For this reason, the Programs of Study Design Framework developed by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education (OCTAE) should serve to guide the development and establish this model.

DownloadThe Model relies heavily on establishing a National Parent Platform. The platform will provide parents and expectant parents direct access to nationally accredited child development research, parenting information and guidance as well as other related resources. This is especially important for parents of young children who currently do not have a readily available and endorsed source of information they can trust during the most critical stage of their child's development.
