Parent Engagement is directly linked to successful educational outcomes. Yet most parents in the U.S. do not have the guidance, information, or resources they need to truly support their child’s learning from birth and throughout their school years. We want to change that.
A study of ten internationally recognized high-performing education systems pointed directly to the critical role that parents play in school performance. Our current trajectory will leave the U.S. struggling to compete economically and our children will struggle to find jobs in the global economy.
We must teach parents and all home learning partners how they can support a child’s education. Our current education system has diminished a parent’s role and bred inequity. The National Parent Education and Engagement Model has been designed to build equity in our education system by tapping an invaluable and abundant resource: Parents.
